Doula Certification Requirements in New Jersey
It is legal to work as a doula in New Jersey without having a certification because the state does not require one. Although many women decide to get certified as part of their career objectives, it is entirely voluntary. Also, New Jersey does not require a high school dipolma or a college degree to work.
The following is a list of educational courses or resources available in the New Jersey area which can be used for your doula training. If the classes are a required part of a certification curriculum, it will be noted in the details, so please read the details carefully if you enroll in a doula program.
