It is legal for postpartum doulas to operate in Massachusetts without getting a certification because there is no state requirement to get certified. Additional, there is no state requirement to have a high school or university degree in order to work, although some jobs require one.

Course and Workshop Details and Requirements

This is a 16 hour postpartum doula training workshop which will be taught over 2 days.  This workshop is required for CPD certification through CAPPA.  You do not have to be affiliated with CAPPA to attend. The workshop is offered on June 29, 2017 AND July 6.2017.  You must attend both dates to get full credit.  The times will be from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily.
