Nevada law does not require doulas to hold a certification in order to practice in the state. Although both certified and noncertified doulas can work, many women choose to get certified for professional advancement.  Nevada also does not require a high school diploma or equivalent in order to work as doula.

The following is a list of educational classes and resources available in the Nevada area which can be used for your doula training.  Please read the details carefully to determine if the classes are affiliated or required for a certification granting program. You do not have to be pursuing a certification in order to attend these classes.  However, you are required to be at least 18 years old to attend.
